About me
Who I am?
Hi! I am Marco Minoni, and I am the founder of Moving Mindsets Facilitation. With a rich blend of academic background in cultural anthropology, sociology, and psychology, and 10 years of hands-on experience in facilitation, I’ve dedicated myself to the art and science of bringing people together to create meaningful change towards a more inclusive world.
✨ My Mission ✨
My mission with Moving Mindsets is centered on facilitation as a transformative force—one that brings people together, creates the culture we want, and shifts the focus from content to process. Facilitation can redistribute power, foster inclusion, and strengthen diverse communities by creating spaces where everyone feels seen, heard, and valued. Through trainings, community spaces, and reflective practice, I aim to equip facilitators with the tools to create meaningful, inclusive, and socially aware group experiences.
🌅 My Vision 🌅
I envision a world where connections run deeper than transactions, where communities are rooted in mutual respect, understanding, and shared purpose. A world where decision-making at any level is inclusive, transparent, and guided by the wisdom of all participants—including non-human nature and future generations.
My work is grounded in the belief that true progress emerges not through control, but through co-creation—embracing complexity, interdependence, and the lived experiences of those present.
Moving Mindsets is more than a facilitation approach; it’s a commitment to fostering sustainable, just, and regenerative cultures. This is a journey toward not just imagining a more connected and compassionate world—but actively creating it, together.
🛠️ My approach 🛠️
My vision for facilitation is grounded in a holistic approach that interweaves the nuanced layers of the individual—body, mind, emotions —with the intricate dynamics of groups, the cultural contexts in which we operate, and a connection to a purpose beyond ourselves.
My approach integrates:
✅ Somatics & trauma-informed practices to support authentic engagement
✅ Power & justice frameworks to navigate group dynamics and microaggressions
✅ Nonviolent communication & embodied consent to enhance group trust
✅ Collaborative decision-making to encourage self-organization
✅ U theory, deep democracy and sociocracy
This comprehensive perspective, guides me to create spaces that nurture understanding, empathy, and collective action.
